āž” First of all, I must say that I went to the Museum "Yale Center for British Art" and was very impressed with an artist called "Njideka Akunyili Crosby"; her art is fantastic, and it makes me feel delighted.

šŸŒŽ The artist's path

āž” "The places where artists live shape their points of view and the stories they tell. Njideka Akunyili Crosby was born in Enugu, Nigeria. She immigrated to the USA when she was sixteen years old and lived In Philadelphia, New Haven, and New York City before moving to Los Angeles, where she lives and works today." Text from Yale Center for British Art

šŸ”„ Job Relations between an Artist and a PM

āž” 1: As an artist, the PM needs to shape their points of view but always based on customers' needs/stories; in other words, you need to guide the team (stakeholders, designers, developers, etc...) to paint/design/develop features/products based on what will enhance the client's day-to-day experience to reach their goals and facilitate their lives. āž” 2: The Artist and PM will constantly be testing customers; probably will be some creations/features/tests that the customers won't like, and you will be very criticized for it, but this is good as well; the more you show your work, the more public will understand that you are doing your job to praise them, even if you make some mistakes.

āž” 3: As an artist, the PM has a public wanting to see new art/features that will always increase their experience.

āž” 4: The Artist and PM have to manage the workflow to make things happen; in other words, when the artists are defining the material and how they will deliver their art, the PMs need to do the same trough defining the backlog, manage/prioritize the deliverables and plan to how to reach the goals defined by the company.

āž” 5: As the PM, the artist should negotiate with stakeholders to show their creativity, and in the beginning is always challenging; you will start with something new, you will have few customers, and you will have to find places (low-budget) to show what you are creating, but as soon that you product/art starts to be recognized you will be able to grow, but remember, you will keep growing only if you keep working on improvements and deliveries.
