🔊 Attracting companies like Facebook in SF, Spotify in NY, and booking.com in Europe to my profile

➡ First of all, I need to explain that I did it in the past, more or less five tears ago when my Wife was living in French, and I was in Brazil.

➡ I created a strategy to attract those companies, and it worked pretty well, so I did a lot of interviews, but unfortunately, I went to the final steps of some of them, and I was not approved 😥. Anyway, we don't always have success in life, even if we are good professionals, so I'm not disappointed to share my failed experience because I had success in attracting huge companies, I was almost hired, and maybe this can help you go further than me.

🏹 What was the strategy?

➡ I began looking at Product Manager Jobs descriptions on Google, Facebook, Spotify, Booking.com, and other companies that I was interested in working with, then:

1. I checked what skills I have that were aligned with those big companies;

2. I rewrote all my LinkedIn based on those organizations' descriptions;

3. I added all the good results/data that I achieved in each company;

4. I verified/revised all that I wrote in English to don't make many mistakes;

5. I was always ready for international phone calls, and they happened;

6. I wrote all that I should say in the interviews, and I practiced with myself by doing videos to check my accent;

7. I did a lot of product exercises, and I had to answer complex questions, so be ready for that;

💪 Wowwwww!!!! I had success after two years, and I was hired to work for a NY company!!

➡ Yes!!!! I was hired to work for a NY company. I had a great leader in this company, and it was awesome because I improved a lot my English (in all terms) and grew a lot in this company; in other words, I became a Product Manager, and I left the company as General Manager (&CPO) taking care of all Brazil's operation.

➡ I would like to tell you that no matter if you fail now, keep trying because all your effort probably will be rewarded in the future!
